Greetings! When I told my fourth grade class I would not be in on Monday, there were some groans. The Scholars are just getting used to their new teacher and classroom and leaving for a day probably did not seem fair. However, when I told them I was going to school to learn how to use my earphones and microphone, they decided my lesson was going to be cool. Their first question, of course, was, "Will you have homework, too?" The next was, "Can we try?"

Kids are so eager and ready for what is coming next. I love the enthusiasm and the fearless way they face every new idea or technologic innovation.

My first experience with programming was with a machine that punched holes in a paper tape. I used "floppies" when they really did flop. I amaze myself every day when I check my email on my iPod touch. I am pleased to share this opportunity with others as we try another amazing adventure in new ways of learning.
